So - Phi Tuition covers the Swale area.
Founded by Sophie Spillett, the organisation supports students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their career ambitions.
The business manager, Sophie, is qualified as a Teacher of Mathematics in 2013.
Unfortunately due to her Ehlers-Danlos Hypermobility Syndrome, teaching full-time became too painful, and she had to rethink her career but didn't want to stop teaching because that was her ambition. So I decided to start my own tuition business for people like me, who were "a bit different" from others.
What makes me different from other tutors?
Sophie is passionate about SEN Education. The business focuses on supporting students with SEN that are in mainstream schools. She firmly believes that with the right support and flexible teaching methods, students with SEN can achieve anything they want to.
Sophie adapts the teaching methods to the needs of the student to ensure that they have the confidence to succeed in school and achieve their ambitions.

The organisation is representative for Usborne books (https://usborne.com/gb/partner/sophituition) and Sophie is in the process of writing A Level Maths textbook to support students studying the Pearson/Edexcel Specification which is accessible for students with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, to dispel the myth that students with SEN can't study A Level maths - because they can!
