QUIZ TRAIL CIC

Quiz Trails are self-guided walks that take you to discover interesting sights and solve clues to reach a final answer.

Quiz Trails is family-friendly - suitable for all ages and an affordable adventure game and offer a fun way to learn about local history while enjoying a healthy walk in the fresh air.

Each trail takes about 1-2 hours and there are currently 20 trails to choose from across Kent, East Sussex, and Surrey. Quiz Trails are great for individuals, couples, families, and groups, and are now available in various locations with more to come.

Social Impact

A Quiz Trail celebrates the uniqueness and the heritage of a town or village. Local history reaches a wider audience - with the history being shared in a fun way. Inclusivity – suitable for all regardless of age, disability, gender, race, class, learning difficulties. All trails are specifically made to be accessible. Suitable for all - solo’s, couples, families, groups of friends. Drawing in people in from the whole community. Bringing people into a local economy from outside the area – good for economic impact as the more time people spend in any area, likely to stop for refreshments, etc.. Bringing people together - easy to invite others and to do together, particularly as an aid to help anyone isolated and lonely to get outside with others. Sparking an interest in history in young children. Increase in pride in local areas – hopefully might reduce vandalism if young people are proud of where they live. Outdoors – fresh air – healthy walk – exercise. Exercise is also positive for mental health. Social impact – a low-cost well-being activity to provide to the local area with nothing but positive messages - being outside in the fresh air having fun.
