The Halpern Charitable Foundation (HCF) envisages a world where creativity plays a significant role in enhancing people's lives, improving health/wellbeing, effecting social change and increasing employability, as well as its power to bring together diverse communities in one passion. We achieve this through provision of physical space, low-cost studio hire, professional creative development and workshops /events.
As an established, reputable local charity supporting the creative sector in Medway and the surroundings areas, our work is widening access to and participation in the arts by supporting new, upcoming and established creatives and by delivering arts for wellbeing out in our community. To sustain this activity, we generate revenue to cover core costs through the lease of artist studio space to over 40 artists, gallery exhibition space, workshops, kiln hire and conference facilities.
